Appears to be unpolished showing moderate wear consistent with age. Lugs remain thick and even with original beveled edges. “Rolex Oyster Case” engraving is still present on caseback. Original red triangle insert and radium pearl.
Dial:
Dial excellent condition remaining very glossy throughout. Dial surface shows light spidering and several of the lume plots exhibit loss. Original handset matches nicely.
Bracelet:
Original swiss rivet w/65 endlinks. Clasp is dated 1958. Bracelet shows light stretch.
Accessories:
None.
Notes:
A very pleasing and original example of a 5510 Big Crown. The 5510 was only produced for a 6 month time period and was the final version of the Big Crown Submariner.
